Hey, I’m Casey, but behind the booth, most people know me as CJ the DJ.
For me, DJing has never been about simply showing up, pressing play, and running through a playlist. It’s about reading the room, creating the right energy, and making sure your wedding or event feels like you.
After 300+ weddings, I’ve learned that no two celebrations are the same, and they shouldn’t be. Some couples want a packed dance floor all night. Some want a laid-back atmosphere with great music and good people. Most want a little bit of everything. My job is to figure out your vibe and bring it to life.
When I’m not DJing, I spend most of my days in a classroom or on a ball field, and many of my weekends celebrating alongside couples and families.
Those different parts of my life have shaped the way I DJ. I’m organized and prepared, but I also know when to throw the plan out the window and go with what the moment needs.
I’m comfortable on the microphone without making the night about me. I’ll keep things moving, communicate with your vendors, help manage the flow of the reception, and make sure you don’t have to spend your night worrying about what happens next.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all wedding playlist.
Want country? Let’s do it.
2000s throwbacks? Absolutely.
Hip-hop, pop, rock, line dances, classics, or a little bit of everything? I’m in.
And if you hand me a do-not-play list, it stays a do-not-play list.
The goal is simple: when you look back on your wedding, I want you to remember the people you love, the moments you didn’t want to end, and a dance floor that felt like it belonged to you.
Your people. Your vibe. Your soundtrack.
